Glendale's canyon neighborhoods live on retaining walls. We build new engineered walls with real drainage, and we rebuild the failing ones before a lean becomes a collapse.
The Verdugo and San Rafael foothills also carry a river rock heritage — arroyo stone walls, porches and chimneys on the older properties. That stonework is worth saving, and restoration is one of our favorite assignments: rebuilding failed sections with the original rock so the wall looks like it never had a bad day.
